As if that wasn't enough, they won their very own special award, the Landmark Award, for 25 year in the business. The duo got very emotional, stating it had come as a total shock, 'Neither of us would be here if it wasn't for each other' -Dec.
Ant celebrated their victory by joining the new craze and taking a selfie on stage, with Dec commenting, 'You couldn't have done that 25 years ago.'
I think we can all say that Ant & Dec truly deserve all their success and hope their NTA reign continues for years to come.
There was another big winner of the night with Coronation Street collecting the award for Serial Drama and Julie Hesmondhalgh, who plays Hayley Cropper, winning Serial Drama Performance. After the huge, moving storyline between Hayley and Roy came to a conclusion this week, David Neilson, who plays her on-screen husband Roy, joined Julie on stage to accept her award. Hesmondhalgh declared, 'We said that if either of us were lucky enough to get this we'd come up together, because there ain't no Hayley without Roy and there ain't no Roy without Hayley.'
